You can count Calories or Carbohydrates, Use the GI Index, Water Diet, or Eat a Vegan or Vegetarian Diet. You can go on some very restricted diet like eating grapes or others you can eat very restricted diet. But a good healthy diet is what you are looking for and one that you can maintain for the rest of your life!

So, if you want to lose weight, you should look at a weight loss diet. You want to lose 10 pounds in 10 days or you want to lose 200 pounds. Food for you!

If you want to gain weight, you need to look at important foods.

If you want to make mussels you should look at the ingredients for making mussels.

If you are over 40, you may have more needs/challenges than a teenager.

The point is that there is no “one size fits all” diet, and what works for one person is not necessarily the right diet for you! You have to find a diet that you like and you can do it for the rest of your life because it will be your diet for life.

Before going on a diet you need to know what your goal is.

Here’s a quick question: In just one bite, what is the most nutritious food you can eat. Now remember this is just one bite……Apple, Banana, Egg, Steak, Hamburger. Believe it or not Pizza is pizza. A fully loaded pizza contains more nutrients than any other single bite of food. But is it healthy? Fried, fat, oil, sugar, carbs, and whiteboard, pizza is not a healthy meal.

The purpose is; Diet has many definitions but when it comes to health you want to make good healthy food choices.

Exercise. Yes, exercise is the most important thing you can do for yourself after Diet and Diet.

No, you don’t have to be a marathon runner or an Olympic swimmer but you have to move. But the good news is, exercise is cumulative. 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening is the same as 30 minutes at a time for non-aerobic activities such as walking.

If your general health allows it, see your health care professionals, then cardiovascular exercise is the best thing for your overall health. Aerobic exercise will make you sweat and raise your heart rate for 15-20 minutes or more. Jumping rope, running and dancing are all good activities.

Find ways to make work fun and easy. Here’s an idea! When you go shopping, movies, dining etc., try to park on the far side of the parking lot and walk to the door/exit.

Try the Mall Walk, race walk, marathon walk, bike meet, walk for medicine and more. These are really fun.

Environment: The environment around you is important to your overall health.

Remember the basic rule of three. You can stay 3 minutes without gas; you can survive for 3 days without water and survive for three weeks without food.

Bad air, eating contaminated food and drink, bathing and swimming in contaminated water are hazardous to your health.

Our water sources are contaminated with things like heavy metals, chlorine, fluoride and pesticides. Although the money is very low for the government, it may not be low for your health.

Good drinking, clean, filtered, reverse osmosis water. Get a pool filter to filter out chlorine and other contaminants. The chlorine in your drinking water is the same as the chlorine in your milk, and your bottle of milk tells you not to drink it.

Make adjustments to your appearance and remove dead lines. Dead lines are one of the biggest stressors we have.

Avoid traffic jams. Adjust your schedule so that you miss the worst of the traffic.

Improving your health

Eat good healthy food.

Drink plenty of clean water. Divide your weight by 2, that’s how many ounces of water you should drink a day. That’s water, not coffee, tea, beer, or orange juice.

Do your laundry. Colon, gall bladder, liver, whole body, etc.
