Bad Dog Food – The Stomach-Churning Poisonous Death Blend in Your Puppy’s Bowl
Your pet is probably eating bad dog food. Calling it “bad dog food” is an understatement. When youarefeedingyourdogstoreboughtfood, youarefillinghisbowlwithoneofthemosthorrible, stomachrotatingcollectionofdisgustinganddeadlyfilththatyoucaneverimagine. Let’s take a look at what’s really in that supposedly safe dog food you find on store shelves.
Byproducts. That doesn’t sound so bad, does it? A little “animal byproduct” in your dog’s food doesn’t seem so creepy until you realize what that actually means. That “meal and bone” and those “by-products” are horrible beyond imagination.
After the factory removes those drumsticks and breasts from a turkey and packages it for sale at your local supermarket, they make use of the carcass. That collection of dead skin, feet, eyes and pelvis is sent for “treatment”. So also the dying (and already dead) livestock that could not be cut for human consumption. Chicken parts, too. Oh, and a lot of that roadkill you drive over on the highway is thrown into plastic bags and sent to the people for dog food. Pets? What happens to those wanderers who have been put to sleep? They also become “by-products”, teeth and all.
The carcasses are shredded and dumped into a vat where they are boiled until the fat is separated. The dog food companies skim off the rotten fat and all that’s left is suddenly “meal and bone”, suitable for use in dog food Cat’s claws, euthanized pet dogs, roadkill, chicken thighs and cattle with mysterious ailments are all ground up to feed your pet.
That’s disgusting enough on its own, but it gets even worse when you realize that “quality control” in the dog food business isn’t that great. The dead cat’s flea collar makes it to the mill. The body bag that contained the maggot-riddled corpse of unfortunate roadkill may also make it into the mix. That’s right, all that “bone and meal” is combined with ground plastic.
A bit of plastic may not be good for your dog, but it’s not like it’s going to kill the animal after one bite, right? It’s not like we’re talking about a highly toxic poison, are we? Actually we are. Those euthanized strays who died after taking a shot are poison in that mix and that poison stays in there too. Boiling ground corpses in a vat at 250 degrees does not destroy the toxins. There is often a measurable amount of lethal poison in commercial dog food
We are also just scratching the surface of bad dog food. Dog food manufacturers use crazy fillers made from fake proteins that do nothing for your pet – they just make the label look a little more respectable. There is also the inconvenient fact that they use creepy additives that are banned from human food. Can you guess why those bad dog food additives are not allowed in the human food supply? Unfortunately, it is because they are known to encourage disease and even cause cancer.
That’s what’s in your dog’s bowl. Corpse with diseases, animal waste, plastic, poison and destructive additives. To make matters worse, you can’t even trust the label on the bag. Labeling requirements are loose and a dog food company can claim that they are peddling a natural product even if they are not. The company on the label is not held responsible for all the nasty stuff it creates in the “raw ingredients” it buys.
If you buy dog food from a grocery store or pet store, you are poisoning your beloved pet. There is no way around it. The rubbish masquerading as dog food is despicable and anyone who really cares about animal welfare should be absolutely firm in their refusal to buy the stuff.
Some researchers claim that countless dogs die instantly from nasty, bad dog food and that every dog that consumes this sick garbage loses a little time of its life.
You didn’t want to do it, but you killed your pet.
What will you do now? You can pretend you don’t know the truth, but that is both cruel to your pet and unfair. You have an alternative. You can make dog food yourself. Homemade dog food is a breeze to make and it allows you to ensure that your dog is not forced to consume the kind of crap that commercial dog food makes. It’s cheap, fast, easy and infinitely healthier than the big label bad dog food most pet owners use.
