Weight gain is a result of two important things. Once we know what caused our weight gain, then we can work to reverse this process. They are burning too many calories or not enough energy.

The first is more calories in and less calories out.

This simply means that if you consume more calories than you use on a daily basis, you will gain weight. Your body will turn the excess calories into fat and store it. This is exactly what your body was made to do. Your body is designed to use or store any usable potential energy source that you take in. So how can we get around this? By reducing the amount of calories you take in. Simple? Not really.

For most people, reducing food intake is difficult and often leads to failure, so to deal with this problem you need to work on replacing the food you eat in volume with other foods of equal or more volume, but lower calories.

For example, say you eat two creamy donuts, that’s 600 calories, at about 5 oz total volume of food. But what if you replace that kind of food with a big bowl or salad. You would end up with 6-7 oz in volume but just over 100 calories. So I kept the same volume so you know you’ll be just as full, but I changed the food type.

This technique is great for losing weight fast. With this tactic, you can reduce the amount of calorie intake by 50% per day, without starving yourself from ever feeling hungry.
