The thing about these types of diets is that they actually work as rapid weight loss, you will lose 1 or 2 kilos in the first few days, but then stop losing weight completely, this is also known as reaching a weight plateau.
Finally, there is the popular media legend: the carb plans. Carbohydrate plans are almost impossible to follow, what actually creates energy for your body are carbohydrates, so if you base your diet on few to no carbohydrates your body will produce almost no energy, as a result you will not be able to exercise or even to do your daily activities, so in the end you cannot follow such a plan.
Basically, like I said before, 99% of fast weight loss diets or programs do NOT work. What you can find are supervised weight loss programs that help you lose a few pounds in a year or so, but they are expensive because they require you to buy a lot of nutritional supplements or vitamins , which in the end are not really worth it, since you will only lose a few pounds over a long period of time for a high price.
