Healthy carbohydrates are a crucial part of your diet because they maintain your mood and provide you with the necessary energy, including muscle strength and brain activity. If you​​​​are in a bad mood, you feel tired and your brain has gone in your mouth, you may not be in menopause, you are just starving yourself with your ridiculous diet – or you are menopausal, and you are making your symptoms worse with your diet.

Complex (healthy) carbohydrates are converted to sugar in your body in much smaller amounts and at a steadier rate than bad carbohydrates. Therefore, your good carbohydrates will ensure that less insulin is produced. In other words, you’ll feel satisfied longer, have more energy and you’ll be in a better mood (your kids, coworkers, and significant other can thank me later) if you eat good carbs.

Good carbohydrates are high in fiber. The more fiber we take in, the more your excess estrogen will leave your body through your digestive system. I can hear you saying, “Don’t we love estrogen? I thought you said it was needed for 300 bodily functions.”

My answer is, “I’m talking about the excess estrogen you don’t want; the kind that causes belly fat and increases your risk of getting breast cancer.”
