Healthy Diet to Lose Weight – Don’t Worry, No Mention of Celery, Carrots, Or Tofu

Here is a healthy diet to lose weight. Don’t worry, I won’t tell you stupid things like eating carrots and celery and other nonsense like that. I’m just going to give you a diet that is easy for the majority of people to follow.

The best thing is, it doesn’t feel like a diet at all.

Healthy Diet To Lose Weight

1. Breakfast starts the holiday right

You just woke up, mini fast. Your body needs nutrients and calories immediately. Especially protein. So for this diet, you need to eat eggs. I prefer 3-4 scrambled eggs. This gives you protein and fills you up.

I will give you the “secret food” that helps a lot with this diet.. use it as much as you can. It’s black beans. One can of black beans has 25 grams of fiber and 25 grams of protein… with no sugar. If possible, heat 1/2 can of black beans for 5 minutes and spread over your eggs.

2. Keep your momentum going with protein and fiber for lunch

The more calories (healthy calories) you get earlier in the day, the easier the rest of the day will be for you. You’ll have less cravings and less need for snacks to tide you over until your next meal.

I suggest you eat tilapia or salmon on a bed of lettuce. Other proteins you can use instead… 1 can of tuna, 1 can of black beans, 1 chicken breast, or 1 hamburger patty.

3. Dinner… lean meat and some “superfood” vegetables.

Use whatever lean meat you want for dinner, but I highly recommend eating 8 ounces of broccoli or cauliflower… or a combination of both. I got 1 pound frozen bags of mix each for about a dollar.

4. Choose your snacks wisely

Too many people use convenience foods for snacks. Bad, bad, bad. Often you don’t have any control over this because you eat so badly in the morning and evening that you need quick energy from the sugar in it.

Regardless, try to eat as many apples and low-calorie yogurt as you can for snacks.

5. Drink what….

Just drink water, protein shakes, and tea… nothing else! Empty calories are killing you slowly. The average American gets more than 25% of his calories from liquids now. It’s not pretty.

There you have it… a simple, healthy diet to lose weight and not feel like you’re suffering or languishing.
