Fat Loss Vs Weight Loss – What’s the Difference and Which One is Better?

It is important to know the facts about weight loss. Sometimes it’s hard to tell what’s real from what’s fake. I have spent thousands of dollars in the past on so called weight loss.

Weight and fat loss is a MULTI-BILLION dollar industry. In the United States alone, this industry is estimated to have exceeded 100 billion US dollars in 2007. That’s one country, one year!

The truth is, the weight loss and fat loss market is very large and can be profitable by simply selling a scam and leaving the buyer or seller disappointed, frustrated, and sorry, too bad… too afraid to try. again. And they risk a life of low health and quality.

So what about fat loss vs weight loss? If you search for any of these words in an internet search engine, you will get millions of results. Many from the same websites. It may seem a bit silly to some, but fat loss and weight loss are not the same.

I say that I can help people “lose weight” because weight loss is what most people ask about, it’s a simple word for them. But when I have a chance, I teach them that FAT is the main reason not weight loss. When you start reading the articles on this site, it becomes clear that I am not interested in weight loss. Why is this so?

Fat Loss to Weight Loss: Round 1

Weight loss means “lighter on the scale” (weight scale). While it’s true that overweight people have a lot of body fat, we can’t just think of “scale weight” when we set goals for ourselves. I don’t really care about my client’s weight. I don’t care if they lose 30 pounds. 20 or 40 or NONE will do. What is that? The easiest way to explain it to people is as follows:

You see, most of us want to look good and perform well, whether in our daily activities or as athletes who want to control their bodies in order to perform well in sports. Basically, they have more muscles and less fat.

Fat doesn’t help us at all in most sports, because muscles do.

Fat on our hips, thighs or stomach doesn’t look good, it’s hard.

Fat Loss vs Weight Loss: Round 2

In practice almost all of us need to gain muscle and lose some fat to reach our fitness goals. This is where the weight of the scale comes into play. Veins contain a lot of water. Fat is good… fat. Have you ever seen oil (fat) and water (muscles) in the same glass? Which one will float? Yes, the oil. Oil is less dense than water. Less space. Fat is 20% less than muscle tissue (0.9g/ml vs 1.1g/ml) if you want to do the math.

Fat Loss to Weight Loss: Round 3

All of this means that if you are following a training plan and eating well, you will gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. The increased muscle mass reduces the “weight gain” from the decreased fat, resulting in a “depressing” change in body weight. This is sad but in reality it is good news!

So, if the scale doesn’t matter, how do we check our progress? I look for 2 things.

Style: This is obvious: “hey, my hands don’t shake when I’m waving at my friends”. It’s easy to touch: “wow my stomach is stronger now”. And changes can be easily measured with a fat meter. Sight and touch are enough for most people to see progress. Calipers provide a consistent way to count.

Exercise: You can do more for your body weight if you don’t carry a lot of fat. A good example is the chin. Jaw movement is related to strength to weight ratio. Fat doesn’t help at all. If a person increases their ability to lift more body weight, we can be sure that they have gained some muscle and possibly lost some fat.

Fat Loss vs Weight Loss: Round 3 Society needs to get off the “weight loss” bandwagon and get on the “fat loss” bandwagon. Eating disorders, diets and weight loss centers focus on weight loss. But usually the quality of their food is double, and they don’t have proper training so most of the weight loss is difficult. It has also been shown that when we go on a weight loss plan, the body prefers to lose muscle weight rather than fat weight because it is biologically better to do so.

An infinite change:

The customer enters–>

The seller uses fake products–>

The client can lose weight (but this is a difficult disease)–>

The less muscle a client has the less calories they burn each day so it’s easier to gain fat–>

The client returns to his daily life, but now uses fewer calories due to the loss of muscles from the negative effect–>

The customer gets fatter–>

The customer goes back to the slimming salon, to eat fashion–>

Bad producers of bad products/services will never stop supplying “energy” customers.

Fat Loss VS Weight Loss: CONTINUE! Fat loss is king. So remember, if you’re feeling better and doing better, you’re on the right track. No matter where the weight falls on the scale, it doesn’t matter because we’re going for performance and style.
