(2) Turn off the refrigerator. It’s the opposite of storing in the fridge, but we’re talking about your fridge. If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of leftovers in your fridge. Sometimes you don’t turn left, you just forget about them, and before you know it, the food spoils and you have to throw it away.

One way you can avoid food poisoning like this is to clear out your fridge regularly.
