Your wedding day is important, man or woman, whether you are in your early 20s or late 60s first or fifth marriage; it’s still a big day. A day to celebrate, feel good and look as good as you feel. It can also be a very stressful time, with all the planning and issues that come with it.

I know I’ve been there, but stress doesn’t have to be bad for your health and well-being, and it certainly shouldn’t be an excuse to gain weight. You should lose weight for your wedding not gain it. With these easy-to-follow tips, your weight will be good…pun intended. Whether your goal is to lose 10 pounds for your wedding or 50, you can achieve your goal as long as you have the time to do it healthily.

Which brings us to Weight Loss Tip #1.

Set Realistic Goals – No one expects you to lose 50 pounds in two weeks so neither should you. If you’ve come across a “new weight loss diet” that promises astronomical results in a short period of time it’s likely unhealthy and/or a scam. Avoid this offer and make a decision to lose a healthy (and achievable) amount of weight. The more realistic your goals are and the closer you get to them, the more likely you are to keep going, who knows you might even exceed your goals and lose more weight than you expected. Weight Loss Tip #2: Eat three to five small meals each day. If you spread your daily food intake throughout the day your metabolism will maintain maximum efficiency throughout the day. This is a key component of how you can lose weight for your wedding. The harder your metabolism works the faster you will lose weight, it’s that simple.

Weight Loss Tip #3: This is my most beneficial piece of advice. When you wake up tomorrow, count every calorie you ate throughout the day. Do not change your eating habits, eat everything as usual you will just be careful and keep track of how many calories you eat. Once you have this number (say that 2600) subtract 500 from the total (now you have 2100) for the next 7 days eat a lot of calories. I guarantee you that you will lose at least 2 pounds your first week.
