My Personal Rev Abs Review
YES, Being a Natural Step Fitness Coach allows us to experience new results. So in October of 2009 there was an internet buzz about a product called Rev Abs created by Brett Hoebel. Brett Hoebel is a world-renowned fitness expert and one of the world’s leading weight loss, nutrition and lifestyle coaches in New York. He has also been in the fitness industry for 15 years. Rev Abs has a system he created called Abcentrics which means his moves focus on the abs from 6 different angles. Brett will teach you his best moves from this martial art and Brazil from Capoeira. So during the webinar I saw that everything he said was correct, Rev Abs was very cheap and required nothing more than a few bands and dumbbells. So I bought Rev Abs and it arrived 5 days later. I opened it and it came with 8 workout DVDs, Fat Caliper, Exercise Calendar, Diet guide (Do the 14 day down- I lost 13 pounds in 14 days), A program guide, even a training exercise called for. time / share abs. So it is a 90 day program divided into 2 parts of 45 days each.
Phase 1+ 2 exercises include:
Abcentrics/ How to do Capoeira – you’ll learn how to fire up your Abs for maximum results. 15 min
Build Your Abs – Core-burning cardio sessions that work your core from 6 different angles – 40 min Part 1
Electrical Circuits – Heart rate and lower body resistance range of motion – 30 min Part 1
Total Strength – A great total body workout! 45 min. Part 1
Mercy Abs – It’s all about abs this time lol-15 min. Part 1
Fat-Based Abs – A new ab workout and cardio set that lives up to its name-40 min. Part 2
Power Sessions 2 – Lower-body resistance movements and crazy cardio-30 min. Part 2
Strength and Conditioning – This whole body workout is no joke my friends!! 30 min.. Part 2
Merciless Abs – this ab workout doesn’t hurt the abs! 15 min. Part 2
Rev it up Cardio is a great cardio workout that will get you sweating. 40 min. Part 2
The 6 angles I mentioned earlier are Up, Down, Double Up, Spin, Extension, and Side Up!!
During my first week I couldn’t believe how much my stomach and body hurt. I think I was really motivated because I was on a 14 day Jump Start program (I lost 13 pounds!!). During the training sessions, Brett had very positive comments about being part of the body transformation and being a role model. He is also a very funny person. He says some funny things like when you start to get tired of a workout and your mind kicks you to stop it’s called Chatter. The conversation calls and Brett says to talk to the hand lol. Brett also says that sometimes he’s the Dues Collector and when you’re doing it, if you’re doing it right you’ve got to sweat a lot so he’s going to check on everyone if they’re sweating. He claims to be a member of the backstage police force. It’s really exciting, training, and fun!
During the workouts Brett not only works your body but he works your mind as well. He also has a speaking test where he sings a song to test your ability while doing it. This is what Rev it High Rev it Low looks like I’m going strong. This will tell you if you are right. If you talk all the time and don’t stop praising your ability. I use a heart rate monitor similar to a speech or music test. I can’t believe all the inches I’m missing. I just did my last workout of Week 11/Day 77 and my results are getting better! I really liked the foods in Rev’s nutrition guide which are very effective and provide energy for my workouts. I added the Shakeology drink to my diet to make sure I was getting all my nutrients from fruits and vegetables. It seems pointless to go into fitness without doing the same with food.
I believe in maximizing my productivity – not to mention summer is almost here! I’m a big believer in Beachbody products and I’m sure it’s up to us to get the best results from the beginning and our decisions. I didn’t have 90 days to be in bad shape before p90x and Insanity, but I know I’m in charge of living a healthy life for myself and my family.
