Excess Stomach Fat Is Not Only Ugly, But Extremely Dangerous to Your Health

Very popular in the 20th century of Western civilization is a diet that consists of a high amount of carbohydrates. This is directly linked to why people build more visceral fat in their stomach. Spending years ingesting high amounts of starch and sugar causes improper insulin activity leading to storage of more blood sugar. A particularly high risk to your body comes from high fructose corn syrup. This is an important contributor to all forms of fat, especially visceral.

Don’t cut your life short with these stomach fats. If you care about your family and loved ones or your quality of life, reduce your stomach fat immediately! This should be a top priority.

So how can I get rid of both types of stomach fat?

One downfall of fitness is that there is absolutely NO quick fix to your problem. Forget all the gimmicks and hype you see in advertising about miracle fat loss supplements. Pills don’t work. Don’t even try the gimmicky ab rollers or ab belts to get rid of belly fat faster because in reality they will only make you lose money fast. There is also no such thing as spot reduction, which is what these products lead you to believe.

There is only one solution. You must learn to combine both a healthy nutritious diet with a well-designed exercise program. A diet consisting of natural, unprocessed foods and a strategic workout plan will ensure that the right stimulation is provided to force a hormonal and in turn metabolic response in your body. These two factors are equally important in getting rid of this stomach fat.

There are studies that isolate groups of people who only diet versus people who use diet and exercise to compare which groups lose more belly fat. The diet and exercise group lost significantly MORE stomach fat than the diet only groups.

An important thing to realize is that there is a lot of garbage and fluff out there that just doesn’t work. People exercise all the time, but what many of them don’t know is that while they think they are using a good routine, their routines are NOT working efficiently or effectively towards their goals of losing stubborn belly fat. You see it every day in the gym.

The most common mistakes are when people do their hour of moderate cardio, followed by some isolation of weight lifting and then tackle some crunches or side bends at the end of their routine. After a few weeks, they become frustrated that their hard work has not paid off. No results.

Then refocus on incorporating healthy fats that come from sources like nuts, seeds, olive oil, organic eggs and avocados. Increasing fiber and protein is of great importance. The government recommends diets full of grain that is not natural, as well as other aspects that do nothing to control blood pressure or control fat levels. Carb sources should have more vegetables and fruits to get more fiber.

2. To raise the metabolism, we use high intensity forms of exercise and full body workouts. The low intensity cardio is simply not effective in removing our visceral fat. The high intensity alternatives I recommend are much more effective at getting the job done. Your body will become more efficient at managing its glucose and insulin, crucial steps in getting rid of belly fat. Full body workouts with high intensity interval training will increase natural hormones responsible for burning fat and increasing muscle.
