I’m here to tell you that as a NYC personal trainer I’ve seen a lot of people get in shape successfully! It is not possible.

Here are some things you can incorporate into your life so you’ll know how fun and easy weight training can be than you think. I define plus size activities as activities that help plus size people get in shape. It’s not the real work out and exercises you see in the gym, in the aerobics studio, or even on the popular TV exercise reality shows. Most of the exercises you will see are not designed for a large body.

You want to be able to move without damaging joints and potentially injuring yourself. Everyone needs to move their body to be healthy and fit but not all exercise is a one size fits all solution. You need to change your mindset about volume training right now. Here are some great exercises for your body size. Who says a big body can’t be a good body?

Let’s create a new strategy to make it look good. Here are 5 great strategies to get you started on the right path:

1. Play in a group. We all need support and feel like we belong to a community so why not incorporate this need and philosophy into our mass relaxation design? Next time, don’t just go to the health club and get on the treadmill, find a class that’s tailored to your level. You will find others who share the same goals and fitness challenges as you.

2. Plan to go after lunch or dinner with a companion. Find an enthusiastic friend to be your walking buddy and schedule a walk after lunch and dinner. It’s a great time for you to have a conversation while you’re together.

3. Dancing is always fun. It’s easy to move the body while dancing, and you’ll burn calories. You can get a great workout and size without thinking it’s a workout. Some ideas for your dance; take a dance class, go to a dance club, or tap into a dance video at home.

4. Make your garden beautiful. For those with a garden or yard you can kill two birds with one stone. Beautify your garden, plant some amazing flowers, vegetables and fruits and burn some calories. As you struggle to pull those weeds and strengthen your core, core, and thighs, your entire experience in the garden is about building a healthy lifestyle.

5. Have fun with family. Including family in your fitness and health program is always a positive experience. Keep it simple by opting for a walk outside, biking, playing Frisbee, or playing tag with the little ones. It’s endless!

Now you’ve seen how fun the full size makeup can be, instead of giving up while still looking amazing. You don’t have to go to the gym. You don’t run on the treadmill 7 days a week. Be sure to vary your workout routine to cut boredom and motivate yourself. Consistency is the key to living healthy and well!
