Your Weight Could Be A Result Of Your 6 Human Needs

The Six Human Needs is something I heard from Tony Robbins, but it may be a big reason why you are stressed.

According to Robbins, we all want to fulfill all of these needs, and we find ways to do it. They drive our decisions whether it’s good and good for us, or really bad and good for us. Let me tell you what the six needs are and how they relate to weight loss (or lack thereof).

Sixth is the desire to Give – to give something back to the world or to others. Fulfilling this need automatically fulfills all other needs.

Satisfying 3 or more of these needs at a high level (i.e. 7 or more on a scale of 1 to 10) can be addictive, but the ultimate need varies from person to person. to each person. This means that your top 2 will have a strong influence on the decisions you make throughout your life, even if it doesn’t seem to make sense at the time.

For example, if you can’t get a promotion because your performance isn’t great, even with a raise, then loyalty should be your priority. But if you don’t take the promotion because it means you get your own office, you spend more time at your computer and less time with people, love/relationship is more important.

But what does this have to do with your weight?

Well, let’s look at each need and how to do it.

No one meets the needs and that vision of exercise. But by seeing things a little differently, and better, exercise can satisfy your needs at a higher level than eating. Of course you will still eat, but it will be a source of fuel to keep your body healthy, rather than a source of health. It seems impossible but many people have changed, and some of them love to eat and really hate to exercise you!

Absolutely. Even though the actual exercise may not seem like much fun in the moment, the endorphin rush and the sense of pride and accomplishment at the end of another workout are immediately after. Not to mention good practices to maintain a beautiful body that is fit and healthy.

Inconsistency/inconsistency. To someone who has done little or no exercise it may seem very repetitive and boring, but there are many types of exercise that can be done in many ways. Growth. It’s not just about the muscles, it’s about learning new knowledge and skills that will benefit your mind. Even if it takes time to become a professional athlete, you may discover a talent or natural ability for exercise that you didn’t know you had.

Contribution. When you connect with others at the gym, you can, and then you start contributing to their goals by motivating them, telling them what worked or didn’t work. that worked for you in the past, or inspire them with your own stories about how you went from fat to fit. You might even decide to write your own diet and fitness book!

Can you see how changing the perspective of one task can change your entire perception of that task? And how can this fulfill your needs in a sense that food is no longer a vehicle?

But exercise is not a substitute. Cars that are good will work, and more than one. Exercise may fulfill your need for gift, your girlfriend may fulfill your need for love/connection, your job may fulfill your need for significance, and so on. The more ways you have to fulfill each need the better.

Since food is good and replaces food as a source to meet your needs, the task of losing weight becomes easier.
