How Many Calories Should You Burn for Weight Loss

If you rely on classic cardio aerobics for weight loss, you may spend 30 minutes on the machine trying to burn a lot of calories. But does that work? Does burning 500 calories a day make you lose 1 pound of fat per week?

Well, according to science, it should. But if that’s the case, you probably shouldn’t be reading this article.

I previously wrote a column on fat loss myths for Fitness magazine. Here is a topic on weight loss that I covered.

Truth:

One of the worst exercises for fat loss is the calorie counter on treadmills, treadmills, and treadmills.

So what is the solution to burn fat in a faster, better way? The answer is to use strength and interval training to burn fewer calories in less time, but with more effort.

Your body will burn more calories after exercising (when you use intervals) than after your slow cardio, and your metabolism will stay high. Some experts say it’s the latter effect. How do you make time? Yes, you can run for 30 seconds and rest for 90 seconds and repeat for 6 sets – preferably using a bike or treadmill if you’re already familiar with that.

In that short period of time your muscles will go crazy with exercise (I call them metabolic bugs). This crazy combination will burn enough calories after a workout to get your body back on track. The result is that you burn more fat and more calories in the post-exercise period as your body tries to process things.

Now there are times when you want to count calories, but when you count and determine how many calories you eat per day. Also, you can cancel any workout in less than a minute by eating junk food. Without structure and discipline to your diet, there is nothing my programs can do to help you lose fat.

So, use diet control and exercise for a while. These are two anti-calorie counting methods that will help you lose fat and get lean.
