Whether you are concerned about weight gain or loss, exercise can do both, it can put on weight or take it off. Managing your weight is very important not only for physical reasons, but also psychological ones. A person who does not feel good about how they look can suffer from low self-esteem, stress and emotional disorders such as depression.

3. The third reason exercise is important is that it keeps muscles strong and flexible. As we age, muscles weaken, this is normal. However, if we exercise, it slows down the aging process so we can stay independent and mobile for longer. We want to stay healthy as long as we can so we can enjoy our lives and not depend on our families to take care of us.
