3. Buy Pre-Chopped Vegetables. A final idea to consider is buying pre-chopped vegetables. Chopping vegetables is often the least favorite chore, so make it easy on yourself. Buy them ready to go, so there is little or no prep work involved.

Although you’ll pay a little more for pre-chopped vegetables, it’s money well spent.
