7 Killer Weight Loss Dieting Tips – Let Your Beautiful New Body Be the Envy of All Your Friends!

How often do you find yourself looking for weight loss diet tips? No doubt you’ve tried every diet, pill or diet ingredient known and you’re still struggling to lose those extra pounds. In this article I would like to give you some tips for healthy weight loss:-

1) Always keep a record of the food you eat. It might sound silly, but until you see your daily calorie intake on paper, you won’t realize where you might be going wrong. This is also a great way to guilt trip yourself. You’re less likely to scoff at that cream cake when the proof will be right there if you’re dressed in black and white!

2) Eat 4-6 times a day. Fat and weight loss is all about keeping your metabolism high. The more often you eat, the more often you will increase your metabolism to burn those unwanted pounds. This does not, of course, mean that you need to eat 4-6 times a day. You might want to eat half of your sandwich at 11am with a piece of fruit and the other half at 1.30pm with low-fat yogurt!

3) Be realistic in what you hope to achieve. By trying to achieve impossible goals you are only setting yourself up for failure. Eating a lettuce leaf 5 times a day, 7 days a week is humanly impossible. In addition, starvation diet will only make your metabolism rate decrease and thus it will stop the fat burning process. The most important aspect of any good diet is that you should never feel hungry!

4) Use the 90-10 rule. Eat right and follow your diet 90% of the time. The other 10% should be one serving. This might mean once a week having your favorite meal, or eating out at a restaurant. As long as you stick to this percentage, you will continue to increase your metabolism, stay motivated and you are more likely to keep losing weight until you reach your goal.

5) One of the tips of a healthy weight loss diet is to get rid of unhealthy foods in your kitchen. If there is no temptation then you are less likely to go astray. Treat those high-calorie foods like a personal reminder of an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend who treated you badly. Go through it, bake them, just make your kitchen a bad no-eat zone!

6) Control alcohol intake. OK, I’m not saying you have to be teetotal, but you’d be amazed at how many calories alcohol contains. Try and reduce the amount of alcohol you drink and if you can, stick to clear spirits, wine or low-calorie beer.

7) My last weight loss diet tip is when you are out at a certain social event/party. It’s easy to get lost here. A buffet with all your favorite foods, flowing alcohol and a chance for you to undo all that hard work! Yes, you should have fun and don’t let calorie counting take over your life! So stick to the foods on the buffet that are high in protein. Chicken, fish and eggs. Avoid bread and anything saturated with mayonnaise. Stick to the drinks I mentioned above and make sure you go wild on the dance floor!
