The General Motors Diet also known as the GM Diet is a weight loss diet developed in the mid-1980s. The diet is especially designed for general motor workers and their families.

The diet is based on a 7-day low-calorie eating plan. Dieters are encouraged to eat unlimited fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water and stay away from alcohol.

This is one of the fastest and healthiest ways to lose weight fast. Dieters on this regimen typically lose between 10 and 17 pounds in 7 days.

The GM diet enhances your body’s natural detoxification. It helps cleanse the body of impurities and remove toxins from your system. It will make you feel lighter and more energetic.

How does the General Motors Diet plan work?

  • You must drink 12 to 15 glasses of water every day while on the diet
  • You must stay away from alcohol
  • You cannot drink fruit juice before the 7th day
  • You can drink black tea or black coffee without sugar or creamer

Day 1 – Fruits. Eat only fruits especially melons and melons (no bananas)
